Research Patient Data Registry (RPDR): RPDR is a centralized clinical data registry that contains data from electronic health records (EHR) in 2 tertiary medical centers (Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital) and 3 community hospitals (Faulkner Hospital, Newton Wellesley Hospital, and North Shore Medical Center), a Rehabilitation center (Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital), and a psychiatric hospital (McLean Hospital) within the Partners Healthcare system (PHS). RPDR contains information on patient demographics, medical problems, medications, vital signs, smoking status, body mass index (BMI), immunizations, laboratory data, radiology reports, and ambulatory clinic notes, admission notes, and discharge summaries. The Medicare, Medicaid, and various commercial claims databases contain information on demographics (age, gender, race/ethnicity, etc.), enrollment start and end dates, dispensed medications and performed procedures and the associated dates, and medical diagnosis with its date and setting (inpatient care, outpatient care, or in a skilled nursing facility).
